About Thanks a Million Challenge
Thanks a Million Challenge is an independently operated information site about endurance fitness challenges and charity event planning. It explains indoor rowing, how progress is counted and tracked, and how to organise a team challenge.
The site is named after its domain. Between 2024 and 2026 that domain hosted the page of a one-off fundraising event run by the UK charity Momentum in Fitness Charity, in which a team of twelve rowed one million metres to raise money for children's cancer projects. This site is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with any company, organisation or person that has previously used this domain name or whose name appears in it. In particular, it is not affiliated with Momentum in Fitness Charity or the rowing challenge, its participants or its beneficiaries. The old site's content is not reproduced here.
Articles are general information about events and exercise and are not medical or fitness advice; talk to a doctor before starting strenuous exercise. This site does not collect donations. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through the Contact page and we will correct it.
